I am VA Platinum and also have an Amex Velocity platinum credit card. I am travelling through LAX on a VA operated flight connecting to an Air Canada flight (with VA flight number). Will I be allowed lounge access with my wife and two children? If not has anyone got advice about which would be the best lounge to pay for access? We have a six hour layover. Many thanks!

I don't know the answer to your question but offer another.

What do you want from the lounge? A shower? Quiet place to relax with a drink or two? Food?

With these clarifying questions maybe someone can offer the location of the facilities you require should there not be any lounge access available.

Thanks for your reply. I am looking for all that you suggest. With a family in tow, six hours at LAX is not something I am looking forward to. Assuming I cannot get lounge access for my family using VA status, I would be grateful for suggestions for a lounge that I can pay for that is close to Air Canada departure gates
