LAX Metro now open.

For those flying into/ out of LAX , the LAX Metro is now in operation.

That's the LAX Metro Transit Centre station on the C/K lines.

Still a bus connection to LAX, just slightly closer.

People Mover won't open until sometime in 2026 on latest estimate, which will have three stops at the airport, and this station and the car hire centre.

Yes, but the people mover will be a little more seamless - hopefully!

Now, they just need to extend the rest of the metro also!

Yes , think along the lines of JFK/Jamaica metro connection.

Wasn't there already a bus connection from one of the lines, C line I guess? I don't understand how this is any different , prior to the people mover opening?

Extension of the C/K Lines, to bring it closer to LAX.

For the C line which heads East and connects to the A or J/Silver Busline.. not much, just one station up the line.

But also gives you the option of the newish K line which heads North and connects to the E/Expo and good connections to Santa Monica as well as central LA.
