Late gate change at SIN: not very impressed!

This. Doesn't matter if I'm doing a short domestic hop or a long-haul redeye, always check the monitor before heading to the gate.

The length of the flight is not the critical factor about checking monitors or not, it's the length of the airport

But it I also regularly hear gate changes announced on F and J lounges - anyway what are they serving in SKL J nowadays? Bollinger?

From memory was the same as on the plane: Taittinger NV.
