My daughter used this some years ago, am wondering if it’s still a thing and if so where to find out about it. Found some very old references but nothing recent!

I couldn’t find it when I went looking before my last trip about 2 yrs ago.

From memory, to be eligible, you had to have an inbound OW flight. Since LA exited OW, that’s no longer relevant.

A bricks ‘n mortar TA might have something.

Otherwise, if say flying QF between Oz and SCL, some alternatives:
1. Check the price of open jaw
2. Can use QFF points for LA Classic Rewards*

*the website won’t let you search some (many) Sth Am cities as origin eg EZE or AEP to SCL but you can check seat availability searching SCL-EZE (return) and call up to book the EZE-SCL sector.

You should also be able to search open jaw reward flights ex SCL. I was able to book online SCL-MVD//EZE-SCL.

Others have said just booking LA direct is cheap but that hasn’t been my experience.
