Kyoto hotel recommendations?

In case anyone else was looking around Cherry Blossom time I have just had a confirmed BRG claim for The Westin Miyako Kyoto for a Deluxe Garden View King Room for 44,928 JPY inc taxes (60,500 JPY on SPG.com 56,160 on laterooms.com).

This rate is still available and is flexible so will be keeping an eye on the rates as we get closer best I can get at the Hyatt is for the Standard King Room is 49,896 inc taxes as my BRG claim was denied for dubious "membership required" reasons but consistent with their T&C's.
