Hi all

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Kogan luggage? They have 2 types, an ABS (?) one at $150 for the set of 3 and a polycarbon one for $199 for the set of 3. If I buy a set it will probably be the polycarbon but I wondered if anyone has actually got a set or knows someone who does and can say anything about it? They are very lightweight for hardside luggage (100L case is just over 4kg). I currently have several of the "IT" lightweight ones and they just fall apart so fast. I know they have the 10 year warranty but I can't find my receipt so I'm left with 2 year old lightweight luggage that's falling to bits with light-medium use :(

Good evening,

I have no experience with Kogan luggage but if it's anything like our television, think long and hard.

Cheap as chips and you'll wish from about the second day you paid a little more.

Dinky, wobbly, infuriating to tune, doesn't talk to universal remote, and generally not an advertisement for the brand.

For what it's worth.

Regards,

SBD

I've bought two things from Logan, both **** themselves within a week - normal vacuum and fancy robot vacuum.

Save your dough but if you're budget conscious, try Costco

I bought the polycarbon set from Kogan (at $149 on sale a fortnight ago).

They are very light and look and feel good enough to do the job. If you are not in a hurry, wait for a sale. They will be at $149 again sometime soon. My wife bought a good suitcase from Aldi about a year ago which she swears is better than the Kogan ones. She is waiting for them to re-appear to get another one. Perhaps they may appear when the European travel season is beginning.

"You get what you pay for" applies to Kogan in spades. When the gear works it's good product and great value and you'll be really happy. When it doesn't work it can be absolute rubbish. I would rather buy from Aldi, they have some amazing deals and quite good products.

You definitely need to read the external reviews on Logan products.
Currently thinking about the Thermomix knockoff at 1/8th the price

Ha! That wouldn't be hard - SWMBO actually purchased a thermomix around three years ago for "full" price:rolleyes: - I am aware of one meal actually cooked with it and it was ordinary (we don't discuss it any more - [at all!]).

The Kogan luggage sets are reduced again today, selling at $149 for the fancy set and $99 for the basic set. I have no idea how long for.

Just thought to reply to this if you are interested..

I bought the Kogan 3-Piece Hardside Spinner Luggage Set (Charcoal) via OZ BARGAIN back in May 2013 which they had for $122 delivered..

I was skeptical because it was KOGAN and also the price..

But I have used all 3 pieces of luggage at different times, travelling from Adelaide Australia to London, QLD, NZ two times and they have been fantastic.. they are strong enough to hold up and feel secure enough, easy to push around on the wheels ( although a little bumpy but easy enough ) and for the price I cannot be happier....

They also look pretty good... sure Samsonite or the like would be better in a number of areas but for 3 pieces of luggage at that price highly recommend.

Sam.

I bought the cheaper set for $99 last year. First trip last year 2 wheels broke off and was replaced by Kogan under warranty. Second trip last month one wheel broke off. Have now consigned all to the WPB
