I'm looking at options for TBS to MRS, and wanting to avoid another long wait at IST which I have on my outward journey to TBS.
One option shows up at KLM via AMS: seems a long way round but the connection time is good, so the overall flight length is shorter than other options. But on a closer look this proves to be Georgian Air TBS -> Air France AMS -> MRS. How come this is marketed at KLM? Simply because it goes through AMS? I'll be in Y so not expecting a quality experience. Would KLM be responsible if the connection were missed? Could baggage be booked straight through? Is AMS a difficult airport to navigate?
My alternative is all LH via MUC. This would reduce uncertainty but involves a 5hr wait at MUC between flights, and an even earlier start.
