Mrs GPH and I (whilst visiting Bendigo for a Family reunion) decided to visited the Brown Brothers winery in Milawa, Victoria’s King Valley, it was my first visit and we had a great day. Their restaurant is great, a diverse and tasty menu, all dishes were beautifully prepared and presented. A wine tasting beforehand where we got to try some of their Patricia range . I have never been a big fan of Prosecco, but I enjoyed their product. As we were finalising our small cellar door purchases, I decided to purchase a couple of jars of their Muscat Marmalade and Prosecco cherry jam. The marmalade is brilliant (not cheap) but I wish I had bought a few more jars! May have to get some shipped up.
In any event, while the winery is 3.5 hours drive from MEL we thought it a worthwhile visit.

A group of us visited last year, really enjoyed it, the wine food matching was good and it was a most enjoyable afternoon. Have to put it on our 'to do' list for later this year. Also if you are a member of their wine club, I think it's a 10% discount in the restaurant.

One of my favorites though we haven't managed to visit for a while. Hoping to squeeze in a visit later this year.
