Is this Kicking Out Contrary to Card Expiry Date & No Notification Fair?

No, matey- just sent 2 emails; 1 got the expired response; 2nd seeking a C-level email address to escalate, went un-answered. I'll give the call a go on Monday..maybe the US staff is empowered more? Or I'll be connected back to S'pore. Will post.

LOL, no business/activity with an organisation for 36 months and your trying to get a C level response, thats a bit of a DYKWIA tactic given your trying to get recognition for activity with a partner?

Sure..it depends which issue tickles you or what you understand as "loyalty". and like some have suggested:
a) a member from Feb 1999 till now, including Solitaire, and no advise of the "rule"
b) a card that still stipulates validity till Nov 2011, or
c) your status coming-up with a star alliance partner on the ticket but being told its "expired"

Having been in the services biz, and C-level, the disconnect between their Ops & Krisflyer seems significant.:confused:

So - I must say that you haven't made clear whether or not you've credited anything to your Krisflyer account in the last three and a bit years. To the best of my knowledge, unused accounts being killed off after a period of non-use has been part of the Krisflyer T&Cs for some time now. I'm not saying that I think it's right, and I agree with you that they absolutely should have sent you communication of some sort to let you know that the account was due to expire .. however if you haven't flown with SQ for over three years, then I don't see how you're being loyal to SQ (loyalty being a measure of continued spend and not what you've spent in the past).

I certainly hope it works out for you in the end.

I don't see what your problem is.

You have not paid any annual membership fees to them, done no regular duties for them and you have not even flown with them for at least the last three years.

And now you are flying with the competition albeit a partner airline.

Doesn't exactly scream loyalty.

Update: The Investigation
Pleasantly received a call on my mobile around 5am ET(i'm still in the US) from a bloke at Krisflyer, S'pore. Citing my emails he said the matter was now "under investigation", and he would get back to me before I returned home (scheduled for the month-end). :)
Fingers crossed. I'll post the verdict.

As far as I can see here you have not answered the question of have you had ANY activity on your account in the 39 months prior to them cancelling your account?

With regard to your poll my answer is non of the above :!:
