Hello there, I am new to this forum but am active on another couple of forums (not related to flying). My family and I are regular travellers to BKK (wife is thai) with usually a yearly month long trip. We are relocating back to Thailand at the end of this year but will need to do an annual or twice annual trip back to Oz as well as some trips to neighbouring Asian countries for holidays.

With this in mind and having tried a number of carriers for Syd - Bkk trip I am interested in getting more information about making my trips to and fro easier and more comfortable.

Thanks

Sezzo :D

Welcome to AFF!

I travel to Thailand 3-4 times a year but generally I will travel a mixture of Qantas/Cathay Pacific but have also used Thai and Singapore. Have also travelled British Airways in the past but their luggage allowances are a little restrictive now.

I would like to do that one day but unfortunately Song-kla and the Southern provinces in general are on my no-go list.

I have also experimented a bit with different carriers including Qantas and BA but much prefer either Thai or Singapore. Feel more comfortable with them although the legroom is a bit of an issue. The last trip I had the emergency exit seats for both legs on Thai. I never would have got them with QF or BA.
