Heard a rumour that JR duty free is closing in CNS (pretty reliable source). I'm unsure if this will impact other JR stores, but any CNS regulars may wish to ditch their points sooner rather than later. So much for my gold status with them!

Aussie DF is expensive anyway :(

SIN beat the Australian price by $18 for a bottle of vodka and Cointreau. Not insubstantial given you have to walk about 100 yards extra with the two bottles as opposed to buying DF on arrival.

So can I fly to SIN and back for $18? (FWIW, Bombay Sapphire is only a few dollars cheaper in SIN than CNS)
