I rarely get to spend time in the QFi lounges, so thanks to a very kind guest pass from a forum member I am lucky enough to be spending some time in the J lounge today. Have been here for a few hours and as always impressed.

Flight is in an hour. Staff member came up to me to tell me we're 1.5 hours late. Fine by me!

Only one better place to be: the Flounge.

Will upload a short report from StarClass upon landing.

I'm waiting for the same flight. It's very quiet in the lounge today.

The Apple flan is worth trying with a side of melon salad.

Yes the ice cream is self service and it looks like you have just landed yourself a job in the J lounge as an ice cream angel.

I am waiting at the gate and if they make any useful announcements I shall update this thread.

Jetstar just made an announcement that the delay is due to "engineering" expect to board at 1800hours???

I hope the lamb was nice.

Just sitting back watching how people handle a stressful situation. There's a mob of irate pax at the counter most of which have a BP with a "D" sticker. JQ staff have just called security. This is better than television.

Not a good place to push buttons and have to deal with security. I would suggest some may not be travelling today of they don't pull their heads in
