OLCI, BP reads xx_xx_xx_xx_ / DAVID (......)

No MR where the dots are but the letters UPFX?
 Not related to the PNR at all.

Any idea why?

p.s. I have flown as a mz and dr on past occasions on 3K and JQ, well at least the computer thought I was - this caused a real headache at SIN immigration but thats another story.

I asked a JQ person who said the code is used when pax pay an extra $9.00 for a forward seat eg in rows 1 - 4 of an A320.

It's basically a 4 digit SSR (special service request) code for upfront seat just like WCHR represents wheelchair.

This is probably why the first 4 rows are showing as blocked on a JQ seat map but I know some AFFers have been able to get these seats when checking in without paying anymore for them just like exit row seats if they still remain unallocated at this time.

Cheers
