JQ MEL-BNK (Ballina Byron) - Going Going Gone?

I travel this route quite frequently to visit relatives, now the JQ booking site is giving me very limited departures in Late Oct - Dec.
Any idea what's happening to this route?
Maybe now have to take ex Tullamarine MEL-SYD-BNK and v.v. .

Interesting. They have cut the route, announced little while back

They are obviously taking advantage of the schoolies traffic in launching just a few flights on some days.
