JQ/3K moving to T4 at SIN in March 2023 (previously October 2022) :-(

The other way of reaching city by public transport is catching a bus from T4 to a MRT station (I think there's at least one bus that goes to Tanah Merah - which is where you need to change MRT anyway, we caught one from T4 to Upper Changi station which is on our line).

The Blossom lounge is even listed on the JQ website for business max passengers so obviously they do. The big mystery remains, does the blossom lounge accept QF Gold/Plat flying JQ/3K in Economy, maybe if you’re still there you could ask
I just flew on 3K675 SIN-PEN earlier this month and can confirm that QFF Gold/Plat passengers travelling in Economy are entitled to access the Blossom lounge. I asked and was accepted with no questions asked. They only needed to scan my QFF card as well as my 3K boarding pass.

This is contrary to what I was told at the check-in desks, which is that the only lounge that can be used is in T1 (i.e. the Qantas Singapore lounge).

Any advice on QF>JQ connections after this change? Looks like a ~20 minute airside bus but wondering how feasible that is with a ~2hr stopover. Wouldn't be scared on SQ and/or connecting between T1/2/3 but haven't been out to T4.

Would being on a QF codeshare impact eligibility for the Blossom Lounge as WP?

The bus itself will take you around 20 mins, but that's excluding waiting time for the bus. I would estimate a 30 min transfer to be safe. The last time I did this transfer around June, I just missed the bus - it took me around 30 minutes from T1 to T4.

2 hours should be okay, but IMO the T4 layout is annoying because the lounge is tucked away on one end, so if your JQ gate is the furthest one away it may be a bit tight to fit in a lounge visit.

I'm not a 100% sure of the answer this question. Logically it should be okay, because I think the Blossom Lounge is considered a "Qantas Lounge" for QF status, but who knows 🤷‍♂️

When are you flying? I will be in SIN on the 13th so I could ask for you.

awesome, thank you. Wouldn't be travelling til November so any info you can share would be appreciated!

No worries! I’ll ask if a QF WP can enter the Blossom lounge on a QF Codeshare.
Hey @exceladdict, according to the QF SIN Lounge staff, you should be eligible to enter the Blossom lounge.

Unfortunately I couldn’t make time to ask the Blossom lounge staff, but the QF lounge staff were very confident that you should have access.

Thank you for checking! That's great news. If I end up on this route I'll check it out and let you know.

I did this flight a couple of months ago and have also been to Blossom Lounge using PP before travelling VN. Definitely recommend using the Qantas Lounge in T1.

If you reach the airport before 6pm you can do early check in at Jewel, which is almost in T1 (about 50m-100m walk from T1 arrivals) and then go through immigration in T1 and up to the QF lounge. I left the QF lounge at about 20:05 and was at the gate in T4 at 20:30 just as pre boarding was commencing. The transfer was relatively straightforward (and the transfer lounge in T1 where you take the bus felt like an airline lounge without catering of course) although JQ8 always leaves from the furthest gate in T4.
So I'm doing JQ8 tomorrow and want to go to QF Lounge as Gold member.

So even though my flight departs T4, I can do immigration and passport control at T1? I'll be allowed into that area from landside even if my flight not departing from T1?

Yes absolutely no problems. I did early checkin at Jewel (which is available up to 3 hrs before departure, i.e. 6pm) and then went through passport control at T1 - no questions asked.
