I'm going from JFK to Edinburgh and see there are plenty of options. Being a bit conservative I've set my sights on BA or AA. Reasons are One World and lounge access with AA.
However, Finnair, KLM and Lufthansa go across as well. Air France do too but have well and truely been dissed on here so they seem to be out (along with Delta)

My only restriction is comfort on the international legs (not J but certainly Y+) and no massive layover times. But Finnair look to have a full day stop in Helsinki and that would be fine as we could look around.

Any one have any recommendations on what airline to go? Prices range from $1,600USD per pax to $2,200USD in a Y/Y+ mix int/dom, and thats about our limit so I doubt J is within reach.

Been looking for weeks and it is doing my head in. Looks like there are no killer prices going so its down to airline, seat and travel time.
