I'm flying into singapore on jetstar from vietnam and then transfering onto Qantas with a 2 hour connection time.

Will jetstar check my bags through onto my qantas flight? If not can i just go to a transfer desk and they'll manually recheck them or do i have to clear customs and then recheck in?

Thanks in advance.

3K will more than likely not transfer you bags to Qantas. Simply go to transfer D (or transfer C) and they will do everything for you.

See:
Baggage transfers: What do I need to know about baggage transfers? | Jetstar

Looks like it needs to be on the same booking.
As JohnK says the transfer desks will do it (as in collect luggage from the carousel and reticket without you having to go airside), although for peace of mind you might want to do it yourself

(I'm thinking this page has changed recently, I recall Jetstars being slightly more generous previously, but I guess with the new oneworld policy something similar on the LCCs is to be expected)

I recently flew BKK-SIN with 3K, and then SIN-SYD with QF. Both flights had the same PNR, and booked through the QF website. The BKK-SIN flight also had a QF codeshare flight number.

The 3K staff gave me both boarding passes, and were happy to check the luggage through to SYD.
