Jetstar on QF Rewards - Questions

I've booked the 4 of us (wife + 2 young boys) SYD - HKT for the September school holidays on my QF reward points.

Some questions come to mind:


  • Is my WP status worth anything other than say dinner in the Flounge before takeoff?
  • How do I get a Jetstar booking ref that would allow me to see the booking on the Jetstar page?
  • My QF booking says 20kg baggage per adult, can I treat this as accurate or are there some Jetstar nuance where they will want to charge me for checked baggage?
  • Do I presume no free seat choice?
  • Any other tips/ tricks I should be aware of? I don't fly LCC as a rule and flying with the family stresses me out!
