JQ109 already does PER-SIN direct. Red-eye getting in at 5.40am. I don't mind this as I book an exit row, take a sleeping pill, and don't care about the lack of meals or movies.

I was referring to the more decent daylight hours rather than the redeye which has no QF group competition, as mentioned the daylight option via Bali is already almost impossible to book, I suspect QF77 will go to JQ in terms of scheduling, leaving QF71 to provide the onward connections to LHR etc which is mor ein line with those flights arriving into SIN from the east coast.
