Jetstar Flex Plus Bundle – Same Day Flight Changes on International Flights (Australia to Bali)?

Hi all,

I've used the Jetstar Flex Plus Bundle a few times now for domestic flights within Australia and found the same day flight change feature really handy, being able to switch to an earlier or later flight on the same day with no fees.

I'm looking at flights from Melbourne or Sydney to Bali (Denpasar) and wondering if the same flexibility applies to international routes. Has anyone successfully used the same day change option with the Flex Plus Bundle on a flight to Bali?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried this.

It works the same way.

The risks are also the same ie. the flight you really want could be sold out on the day or only has middle seats left. Also you can't prebook meals.

I couldn't find another thread discussing Flex Plus fares, this thread seems somewhat related.

I haven't flown JQ for a while and I'm looking at a domestic Flex Plus fare as I'd like the flexibility to cancel for a full credit voucher and the option of extra legroom seats at no additional cost is a plus - I note that the fare includes a $15 in-flight food and drink voucher.

My question is - even though the fare type includes a $15 in-flight voucher, my concern is how proactively the crew would recognise / apply it when requesting for a snack / drink? Would I have to "prove" that I've got a voucher or would they be like "hello, you have a $15 voucher - what would you like?"

I'd rather pre-book a snack online, but the extras section only allows me to "add", which adds onto the fare price. I know there's only light snacks, but I'd obviously like to make full use of the $15.

Every time I’ve travelled with JQ they have come around with the trolley and said “Mr [name], you have a $10/$15 voucher. Do you know what you’d like from the onboard selection?” As long as you’re in your allocated seat it shouldn’t be any hassle.

Thanks for that, that's what I would expect.

My concern was whether or not they'd be proactive in acknowledging, rather than me having to prove I have it.

Shows my confidence in JQ
