Well I wasn’t thrilled with the current QF pricing to Sydney tomorrow afternoon ($377) 30 July so booked a cheap JQ Flight ADL to Sydney at 1715

Usually when you book direct with JQ YOU get zero QF privileges
Aside lounge access as LTG plus a friend Travelling tomorrow so I can guest him In too

It came up that I could use points plus pay so I fiddled with
10 points takes off 6 cents
100 points takes off 60 cents

1 point takes off 1 cent

So that’s what I did !!

Since the booking THEN connected to my QFF account, I’m interested to see if it will actually make a difference in seating allocation l… muses and 3 hours or more in the lounge …😜

At 1 point to save 1 cent, rounding up to the nearest cent proved to be better value….

I’m yet to recover from the generosity of “twice the value” 😜
And that you can actually just use 1 point. (Perhaps they could get around to enhancing a few other things that require a minimum points spend) jokes sarcasm

To round off this point, apparently the system gave me an aisle seat in row 20 something….seeing that’s my usual preference, can I put that down to luck 🍀?
