Jetstar Domestic in Japan?

Has anybody heard anything about JQ looking at doing domestic flights in Japan. I do know that a few flights from OOL to KIX go via NRT. Would having a LCC in Japan be a good thing at the moment with JAL not going to well?

May not be viable with Skymark and Air Do already in the market.
In Honshu, in can be more convienient to travel by Shinkansen than fly.
