Jetstar Business Max Status Credits

I am considering booking MEL-BNE-ICN with Business Max bundle. The booking page says it earns 185 status credits. Not sure if I trust it given the domestic sector does not have a business class cabin. Anyone know if I get J status credits for the domestic sector?

Provided you book into a J fare bucket (even if a Y seat), you'll get 60 SCs from MEL-BNE on JQ. It's normally 125 SCs from MEL-Asia on JQ in Business Max so 185 SCs sounds correct. But take a screengrab and be prepared to whinge if necessary.

I have done MEL-CNS-NRT on a similar offering (Y to CNS and J onwards) and received the promised 185SC

Separate but possibly related issue- can't see a box to add QFF number to booking on JQ anymore. Asked Jess, she wanted me to call in- I'd really rather not

Is there a way? Or is it safe to retro-claim it?
