Hi there
I am in Singapore next month and had planned a week of with my partner lying on a Thai beach before the work begins, he can't come now and I know I'll go crazy lying about for eight nights in the middle of nowhere alone. So I'm off to India. I was wanting to book a flight to Delhi and back to SIN from Mumbai flying QF flight numbers but on Jet Airways metal, but I can't do this on the QF website. Is there a trick to this, or do I need to call QF and try over the phone or get my MEL-SIN booking opened up and add some sectors? Any help as always appreciated!
Thanks

You can't, unless you originate in AU.

You will still earn points on a 9W code but no status credits.

I would recommend SQ unless you really want to fly on a 737-800.

If you wanted to go the long way you could fly with CX and go SIN - HKG - DEL. I went via HKG once instead of SIN. You'll get Sc's too

Thanks both of you, I'm considering both SQ and CX and CX now operate to both DEL and BOM via BKK and being WP I can use lounges and get status credits.

Why not fly on the Qf flights on QF metal SIN-BOM 3 days a week? QF 51/52. Why did you want the Jet flights? Heck, for SGD$487 I am almost tempted... although factoring the visa cost and time spent at the air-conditioner hating Indian consulate it's worse value ;)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
