Japan Airlines blocking Premium Economy ex-SYD

Hello.
This is my first forum post.
In June this year I bought a paid return JAL ticket to Paris for September this year.
Seat selection for JAL52 on 8 September and JAL51 on 21 September both show 777 seating plans on my booking.
I am booked in Business on JAL52 and First on JAL51.
I have not been notified that the aircraft has changed and it is only 8 weeks out now.

Welcome to AFF.

I'm a bit confused about exactly what you are looking for. The schedules, seat maps and inventory I can see all indicate they will be flying the 777 with First on both JL51/52 on those dates. They are still selling F seats so will almost certainly proceed to operate the F cabin.

Is the issue that you are booked in Business on JL52 and you want to be in First?

Would they sell a First class seat in June if their notified schedule in Jan/Feb shows 787 and no first class seats?

Yes. They will often sell J only until they are certain they'll be operating an F cabin. The schedule was likely changed from a 787 to a 777 after it was initially published.

I haven’t been able to phone them.Is 1800531870 the appropriate number?

Thank you for your reply.Im sorry if my post was confusing.

Earlier information ( admittedly early Feb from Aeroroutes )on this thread seemed to suggest that in September the 777 would not operate JAL51/52 and I couldn’t find more up to date information.

Thank you for reassuring me.

I am booked in business on JAL 52 and in First on JAL51.

Thank you for the phone number too.
