Have been trying to book a business return flight from SIN to Kuala Lumpur return.

Have not had any luck been able to do this online.

The flight doesn't even seem to exist on the Singapore website. Strange... but I know it does...

Can anyone help? Trying to book for April, after JAl join OneWorld so that i can earn QFF SC and Pts

thanks

Chucksta

The flight you are looking for is JL721 KIX-SIN-KUL. Whose "Singapore" web site are you using to try to locate this flight for on-line booking? You won't find it for sale on QF or SQ web sites. Have you looked on www.jal.com and select Singapore (English) for region (language).

Hi NM.

Yes i only looked on JAL's website. Doesn't exist on the Singaporean website.

I found it on the Japanese website, but won't let me book!

Argggh.

Any ideas?

Select Malaysia as your country. That allows you to select either SIN or KUL as start and end points.

Still doesn't let you book. Only shows a flight schedule.

JAL calls their business (executive class) and fare is C.

Wonder if C will earn SC and Pts on QFF??... hmm

C wont earn you points on QFF until JAL join oneworld and then i would assume same as J for QFF at a guess.

I just did a C (Op upgrade) class from NRT to ICN and back in Y or C if i get upgraded again and i credited to my AA account, points not posted yet though.

Hmm, I didn't actually try to book anything, obviously

Once they join OneWorld, then yes it will post as business class. QF credits J, D, I, C as business class for OneWorld flights. C is commonly used by airline, especially for regional type business class services, but often for long-haul also.

zuji.com.sg seems to let you book

Yep, Zuji seems to work.

Now, do I need to wait until JAL join OneWorld on 1 April to book?

Or can I book now, and as long as travel is after 1 April, I should be able to credit to QFF?

Whats the chances of JAL delaying joining OneWorld?

When you purchase the ticket is irrelevant to the processing of FF benefits.

I think you are reasonably safe, although there is never any guarantees.
