Hi All,

I have booked J class tickets from ADL-HKG-CDG(Paris)-HKG-ADL

Flight CX174(ADL-HKG) i was just wondering if Airbus Industrie A330-300 is the old or new business class seating??
Same goes for the flight back CX105.

Also, anybody like to throw in some recommendations as to what seat is preferred when travelling with an infant.

Thanks!

Likewise, please add 773 and 744 into the mix. I have 89A allocated on 744 (upstairs). No idea on the 773 as it is auto allocated. Best seats?

I imagine someone will be forthcoming here with the information, but if not, there is pretty extensive info on the CX fleet over on FT, and judging from the dates mentioned it is fairly up to date. There is a bit to plough through but you may well get your answer there.

Be very surprised so see the new J class on the Adelaide flight. If you look at the seat map on manage my booking if you see three seats across - old j- whereas new J shows 4 in a staggered config.

Don't know about with an infant - but in old J I prefer the "k" seats as that side can have less foot traffic, also I prefer to face the back of the seat across the aisle rather than someone's feet.

Thanks Tuapekastar, will read into it more

Hey Burrco, its 11 months away so hopefully they would have fitted the plane out with new J seats by then :)

Seat selection shows one single seat on the left and the right has rows of 2 so its a 1-2 config but cant seem to find info on this. Do you know if they are lie flats/beds? thanks

Definitely flat. The Herringbone (old style) that wasn't favoured was lie flat (as opposed to angled flat like QF Skybed Mark I) so I'm sure an airline like CX wouldn't go backwards in this regard.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
