J Oneworld or Classic Reward to Europe

Hi there - have been investigating 2 J rewards to Italy next April - May. Most availability on EK via Dubai. 280000 plus $1300

Given a OTW J fare is 285000 would I be better off? Only thing is have no interest in going to North or South America. But happy to stopover in Singapore, anywhere in Japan and Italy, France, Portugal. I've combed the OTW thread and all intineraries seem to include somewhere in USA though I read you can do it without actually going 'around the world".

It's not a round the world award specifically, but it can go round the world. You can go AU -> Asia -> Europe -> Africa -> AU if you wanted to. You can visit as many as 5 continents (the 35000 mile distance limit stops you going to 6).

Yes. I only added Africa in to give an example of something without the Americas. You could go AU -> all over Asia -> AU if you wanted to.AU-Dubai-Italy should only be 256k points return in J but certainly worth trying to do the 280k, as it offers far better value.
