Can anyone offer any advise.
I’m looking at the best option to fly Mel to UK in April next year in J flat bed seats.
If buying a revenue ticket what are the better options - Mel to Asia and then get a J ticket return?
I have a bit of time to get some cc sign up bonuses but which airline will be easier? Singapore / QF ect.. no status with any airline.

Look at QF classic rewards to/from Asia eg Jakarta and cash fares from there. You can get to Europe (return) for A$3.5k to A$4.5k quite easily (plus points to/from Asia).

Also look at open jaw. ie fly home from Europe (not the UK) to save several hundred dollars - even after the cost of getting from the UK to Europe.

Google Flights and ITA Matrix are useful tools to check the art of the possible. Hint, check multiple ports for the cheapest.

Are you looking for a cash ticket or with ff miles/points/avios? Or a combination?
For April 2025 people wanting a business flight with ff miles/points/avios to UK would we be looking-booking now. Or last week. But awards can show from any tine up to departure date.
If paying cash also look at 2ndtier airlines. Vietnam, Royal Brunei & Chinese~Taiwanese airlines
Searching for other UK airports (LGW, STN, MAN, EDI etc) and not just LHR can give more options. But with ff miles/points/avios the first flight out of AU is the hardest to get.
Easter Sunday is 20 April 2025, so can be more demand about that weekend.
