ITA Software fare - travel agent can't book?

Hi all

I've found a fare for an upcoming trip to HNL using the ITA matrix website, and emailed the info to my travel agent.
She can't seem to get the fare for me, and upon checking availability on Flightstats, it shows 0 avail for the particular fare bucket that ITA site has come up with.

So does the ITA website show fares that aren't available or will I be able to book this fare somewhere.... I just have to find where? A quick search using webjet etc doesn't come up with it either.
 
I think you can tell the ITA software to only show fares with seats available.
 
You must 'tell' ITA the sales city, sales currency and check "Only show flights and prices with available seats".

Even then there may be some discrepancies - Ailines can vary availability on many things, including booking entity.
 
yep have checked all those, still getting the fare come up that seems to not be available anywhere else I look.

Looking at SYD-HNL then LAX-SYD, on VA/HA codeshare
Put it down to one of those discrepancies, or is it worth giving the airline a call direct?

SYD-HNL leg is the troublesome one, with ITA software showing V fare, but flight stats only showing Y available.

Will most likely need to push these dates back by a day or two so not quite as relevant to track down that particular fare now, just couldn't work out why it was giving me options that aren't available even when ticking "show only flights with seats available"

Could it possibly pick up that there is availability in a fare bucket to enable the flight to appear available, but pick up the cost of a different and unavailable fare bucket?

BTW prior to discovering AFF had no idea any of these websites existed! :D:D
