Stumbled across it - haven't test it yet.

Let's see how it goes..

Nearly two years in the making...

About time!!! :)

Just noticed though, only available on the domestic network. Hopefully will bring in the internationals soon.....

Seems to work OK for me as well, maybe they are listening?:D I also noticed that all the SQ codeshare flights that vanished from the VA booking engine in November have been restored to the VA web site.

Sigh - only last week I had to do several multi city bookings but hopefully now it will remain ........

Wonder why VFF didn't announce it to us here, particularly when it would be an almost instant test of functionality?

Whaaat! Really, I didn't think they would make it before 2015. Hope it works well so far?

IMO, the real value in Multi-City Bookings will come about when VA eventually extend the facility to International flights

I cant get it to work. Wont find any flights then says, Request Entity Too Large

The requested resource
/core/core/flightsearch/
does not allow request data with GET requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit..

Dont know what capacity they have, but I wanted to book 4 flights, IMHO not a huge ask

I did a dummy booking for 4 (reasonably simple) legs and it went through no worries. I agree the error you're getting is poorly handled, but maybe try erasing your cookies and try again? (or try another browser).
It could be more of a browser / server issue than a backend one maybe? (Worth a shot anyway).

Thanks, will try the above. This was on safari, as I have a macbook air. Im not up on all the techno stuff, but will try on chrome and see how that goes. Thanks again for the tips

I get an error saying no flights available on a simple BNE-MEL-SYD same day, as two flights. Maybe I'm a retard, but I cleared my cache and recent visited sites, don't get the error, but it says no flights. If I go to book as one ways, heaps of availability.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I don't think you're a retard. I hadn't tried with multi city on the same day - I did the same as you above and also get no bookings, if I push the date of the second leg back by a day, it works.
Sigh.

Just used this new functionality to book a DL reward flight in the US. Much better than having to go thru the call centre and you can search for availability at your leisure.

Sounds like you are trying to book a SC run, thats the only reason I could think why you would want to book BNE-MEL-SYD all on the same day. I could replicate the problem you are having using the multi-city tool.

Try adding another flight onto your itinerary so make it say:

BNE-MEL-SYD on say 8th Jan and then add on a SYD-BNE on 9th Jan and see what happens.

I did this and the options presented to me on the 8th Jan were direct BNE-MEL flights plus some other options via SYD.

So it looks a little 'borky' but it seems you cannot book a BNE-MEL-SYD itinerary on one day on its own, but you can when travel on another day is included in the multi-city booking.

Nice once, so they have finally added reward bookings online for many of their alliance partners.
