Fiddling around tonight QF are selling first tickets on flights from Singapore to Sydney on flights that don't have first, let alone the usual "one sector will be in blah blah" for around $2000-$3000 SGD more than the actual business seat on the same flight. Screenshot below.

None of the listed flights have a first and all say the same thing when you click on the "I"

Mmm. Something wrong..

Note there have been rumours about the A380 released from QF9/10 going 787 being redeployed to SIN or HKG, so maybe they've let the work experience kid loose again

Maybe the ACCC can help Qf resolve their falsehoods?

Or maybe ask Qf Directly the same question,.... and see what benefits they bestow you for being discrete and Direct?

Nothing like playing the player ;-)

Sorry just realised the dates don't show, these are dates in early July 2017 so nothing to do with 787 and A380 re-deployments.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Is it part of a return journey, with first class in the other direction?

It was from a one way search SIN-SYD. For those playing at home the date searched was Thursday 13 July and below is a screen shot of the same flights when searched in business (which is what you would get under the first booking anyway).

Whether legal or not, it's so poor. This, as well as the flaky multi-city engine, has prompted me to look and eventually book on other airlines for international J travel at least twice.

To be devils advocate, it could be that the system is seeing the SIN-MEL EK A380 in First as an option for a domestic connection to SYD. But really, who knows when it comes to QF and IT? :D

Unfortunately this isn't a isolated case, you can consistently find them
