In my quest to learn all about fare classes and FF earning eligibility-

I selected one of the web deals offered at qantasusa.com and then priced the same flight "manually" also on qantasus.com and received two different prices;

Web Deal

LAX-SYD QF108 Mon 18-Apr
SYD-LAX QF11 Mon 9-May

Fare: 891.00
Tax: 119.00
Total: 1,010.00 USD

Manual
(same flights)
Fare: 991.00
Tax: 119.28
Total: 1110.28

Is the $100 difference in the fare indicative of a different fare class?

I can not find the fare class for the web deal.
The fare class for the "manual" priced flights I believe is "V" (vqfma23)

Thanks!
