Is this possible??

No, its not possible.

However you can use the QF points to book on actual EK flights.

I have used 400K QF points for 4 EK flights.

In short, no.

He can use his QF points to get flights on EK via the Qantas web site (if you are lucky) but they have forbidden the transfer and restricted the use of points heavily so that while one can use QF points to get EK flights and EK points to get QF flights, one can't cross the streams, nor can one use QF points to upgrade purchased tickets on EK and vice versa.

If he books EK flights via Qantas, he gets QF FF points but no SC unless the flight is as a QF ticket code share.

It's most annoying but one can understand for commercial reasons, although not agree, why they have done this.

for reference - Singapore Airlines and Virgin allow this style of transfer between their programs, it may be something QF looks at in the future to stay competitive.

Would be good indeed and give me something to do with the million QF points except buy more toasters, but I severely doubt it will ever happen. Too many people have QF points that they would use on EK and QF points are a cash cow for QF.
