Is Emirates First BNE-SIN worth the extra points

Should I cough up the points Or just go with business for the shortish flight.

It's a horrid flight time (after midnight) so would like to get as much sleep as possible...so is it a waste of points as I prob won't want to take advantage of menu beverages..famous last words right..when else will I try champagne (have also read the business seat on this route isn't the most comfy. )

Experiences/thoughts much appreciated.

Fwiw ...of it was a longer flight it would be a no-brainer

That would be my preference ...but most of the award redemptions are on the late flight

Definitely better on the SIN-BNE leg which is a more 'normal' time during the day, so you're awake to enjoy it all. Doing F on the 2:30am BNE-SIN seems like a waste as you'd basically just go straight to sleep and wake up not long before landing, which could easily be done in business.
