I am a Qantas Platinum flying out tomorrow on DJ195 (Virgin Blue) from Melbourne International. Wanted to know if I can access any lounge tomorrow (eg Air New Zealand)? Also, has anyone had any experience getting access to the Qantas First Class lounge on a Virgin ticket? I know it's not officially possible, but can they be sweet-talked? :p

Do you have a priority pass membership? If yes I think you can access the united club but I'm not sure if it's opened at the hours of your flight...

I think there's more chance of Qantas announcing expanded routes than getting access to the F lounge with a DJ ticket.

Unfortunately Qantas Anytime Access to lounges is no longer possible.

The OP is flying out of an International terminal, so ATA is a moot point.
No.

Anytime Access was also there for International Business lounges (I used it a number of times flying SQ) and I believe First Lounges before the new ones were built in SYD and MEL in 2007.

I am referring to the form of ATA when it was actually removed, so in that context, it is a moot point.
