Hi guys,

I'm flying MLE-CMB on UL on one ticket then later on the same evening CMB-AUH-MEL on EY. These are on different tickets and separate PNRs.

But I know that UL and EY do work together and have some codeshares etc and they are partners in terms of mileage earning etc.

So, my question is this. When I get to CMB I'd rather not have to go landside and pass immigration etc just for the sole purpose or collecting my luggage and checking in etc.

Would I be able to show my onward EY ticket to the UL check in staff at MLE and would they be able to through check my luggage all the way to MEL ?

To add an extra layer of complexity I would like to collect my bags in AUH as our transit is for 22 hours and my wife wants to shop etc.

Is all of this possible ?

Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.

Thanks.
