Interesting Plusgrade outcome

I bid for an upgrade about a week ago. $5 over minimum bid for a short domestic flight. Today I bid the same amount for my daughter on the same flight (different booking #). She received her upgrade within 30 mins. I did not get upgraded. She was velocity red, and I am Platinum.

It is the first plusgrade upgrade that I have not received and the first bid that I've made since making Plat.

All is not lost OP, you might have a shadow in ecomX.
As VFF PS, I have had several shadow seats while flying VAd econX, row 3/4.
