I got the offer through PP. The good news is they explicitly state that the rates get PC points

Terms and Conditions: Rates are per room, per night, are subject to availability and are valid for stays from 1 April 2009 to 31 May 2009. Rates qualify for Priority Club points. Blackout dates apply from 22 April 2009 till 26 April 2009 for InterContinental Sydney. Availability is limited during weekdays in May 2009 for InterContinental Wellington. Full pre-payment is required at time of booking and is non-refundable upon cancellation. Reservation line open (AEDST) 7:00am to 10:30pm Monday to Friday; 7:00am to 7:30pm Saturday & Sunday and on public holidays. Bookings to be made online outside of these operating hours.

I will almost feel guilty taking advantage of that rate, the IC Sydney Mini Bar is nice when you dont have to pay for the drinks as a Royal Ambassador, and the points are a bonus!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Oh well, I am not RA (just don't have the funds for that!). But with my only stay in Sydney IC previously (actually any ICs) 2 years ago, I really enjoyed it! I look forward for the sale .....

Yes that to me is one of the most useful RA perks :)
But always having free internet would also rate highly.

Just me bumping this thread - as the sale will start in a few hours away - and people can be reminded of it ;)

I was at the IC Rialto in Feb (part of a birthday treat for me and the family) and despite the bad reports on FT for treatment of the elite frequent guests, I found the hotel very good with nothing amiss. I recomemnd if you have status with IC to book the best deluxe room, you should get an upgrade to the premier rooms in the old wing which are big and include baths.

I think they still have some issues with their entertainment systems, apart form that its great. Note street parking is available in weekends, Valet is a killer at $50.

I’m sorry, you’re early. Please come back when access to our exclusive offer opens at midday EST on 11 March 2009.

In which TIMEZONE! :)

EST and EDST have passed now. US EST? :)

Oh, and the other link posted here is now returning page not found for Burswood Perth. :(

Oh well. If it's only the base rooms, a decent King size bed is more important than price ;)
