Just recenlty signed up for the frequent flyer program. How does it work exactly if employer sorts out all your flights? Does one get a frequent flyer number? How do I make the most out of it?

As long as your employer hasn't got a deal with QF for flights with no points or SCs, you should be able to add your QFF number to any of your bookings. You then should receive the benefits.

Do you expect to travel much? If so, it may be worth requesting your QFF number be added to flights as part of the booking process.

You would have to tell your employer the number so they can either put it in your travel profile or remember to put it in each time they book you a flight. If you already have a booking, you can go to the manage my booking section of the airlines website and insert your booking. Of course with more detail, such as which airlines program you've signed up for, we can be more specific in advice.

I signed up with South African Airways Voyager. I will be flying from Australia to Zambia via South africa every after two and half months ( With a return to Aussie after 3 weeks stay in Zambia).

Thank you

My next trip is somewhere mid November this year and I have the booking number for flights (Aussie to Zambia using SAA) that were organised by my employer (return inclusive). Is it too late to add the flight details to my frequent flyer account?
