Single male, soon to be doing RWT. Am interested in suggestions for budget accomodation for 2 nights each in Rio (close to beach), Hong Kong and Singapore. Any assistance appreciated.

YMCA in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. Great location. The $AUD is at a 6-year high against the $HK right now. If you want even lower budget accommodation, try the places in Chungking Mansions, on Nathan Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui.
