Hi fellow AFF members,

I have perused the forums (especially Velocity) quite a bit over the past few months but I thought I should stop being rude and do the nice formal intro and basically say G'day.

I'm back and forth between Melbourne (home) and Sydney every week for work purposes and have been doing this run since January continuing for the next foreseeable few months. I have an absolute passion for flying so much so that I even tried to join the RAAF back in 2010 (got as far as doing Flight Screening in Tamworth flying CT-4's ) but the corporate life it is for me, at least for now.

This forum has been an amazing source of knowledge for me regarding Frequent Flyers and I really must express my appreciation and thanks to those who take the time to post their rants and raves.

I'm a lounge member with Velocity Silver status at the moment converting to Gold at the end of this month. I saw there's some post about allowing non lounge members to utilise the free guest allowance so my next stop is there to see what I can do to help out
