I'm due to leave Sydney this Friday 18/4/08. My DONE4 ticket, 18 segments, issues today and I should have the paper ticket tomorrow or at the latest Wednesday.
I was trying to go to the US via NRT or PVG but QF couldn't find any D class. EF shows D class available. I was thinking that perhaps if I had my ticket reissued by AA, they may be able to find me D class.
So I'm wondering if I want to do this, could I call the AA ATW desk on Wednesday night and have the extra segments added and then get my paper ticket issued by AA on Thursday? If so, where would I be picking up my paper ticket? Somewhere in the city or at the airport?
Thx

Pushing it a little if you want a reissue imo. If you get a good aagent they ought to be able to get the US tariff desk to recalculate the taxes while you're on the phone, otherwise it'd take a few hours if they "send" your itinerary off to Dublin.

Your main problem would be getting the ticket in time. AFAIK there's no public access to AA's office in Mascot, however perhaps you could make special arrangements with them to pick up the ticket "somewhere." Doesn't hurt asking...

Thx QF009. I kind of thought I would be pushing it a little.
How would AA normally get paper tickets to you? By post?
