Hey ya.
I know a few of you have done the Hello Kitty flights w Eva, and just wondering if one is enough - ie one is REALLY enough!
I was thinking about hitting up NRT from the cheap HKG sale w QF. I :could: jump a LCC or I :could: go via TPE and jump a Hello Kitty flight or two or four...
Price wise they are on par with some mid tier LCCs but if I'm going to go sperk I'd rather not.
Feedback? Experiences?

I did it on BR20 in J a few months ago. Admittedly it was an overnight flight but it really wasn't anything special. Completely generic boarding gate, regaular safety video etc. I think one carrot slice was in the shape of a kitten - that was about the extent of the special catering.

I really liked BR as an airline but certainly wouldnt go out of my way to do a Hello Kitty flight again.

Personally, I would go out of my way to avoid a Hello Kitty flight, but we're all different. :)

Have a look at wiki and then imagine a plane with a large painting of a Hello Kitty on the outside, HK images on sick bags, cutlery wraps, pillow cases, serviettes, BPs etc etc. I Think there's a cutout kitty on the bread too. It'a fad which has been surprisingly long lived. At TPE airport there's a HK decorated room.

Pray tell, what is a Hello Kitty flight ?? lol

Thanks guys. Couple of flights booked but didn't change plans to make all my flights HK. Should be a hoot - I hope.

More than 2 too many, imo.

Did BR19 and BR20 in J end-Dec. Picked up some HK playing cards for souvenirs. BR's garlic bread is awesome, everything else including service average. Repositioning crew on both flights distractions.

The Eva J Lounge at TPE is quite nice.

Oh and if you are going to fly Hello Kitty you might as well use the self-check-in Hello Kitty terminals too ;)

+1.

There are several Eva lounges. I went to Infinity which is in two sections...the one to the right as you walk towards desk is new(er) and very good.

The garden seems to be for elite members and from outside looked more intimate.
