Had to laugh at this post on FT:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milesbuzz/1511786-35-points-ebags-aadvantage-mall-2.html#post21644023

I ordered over $11k of bags and sunglasses. You can bet I'm returning every item if it doesn't post within 60 day return window. This is my first time using AA portal (I normally use Chase UR portal).

Some people play the game hard and then wonder why things go off the rails. 35 points per $ spent is pretty attractive but spending 11k on bags and sunnies would seem a bit excessive.

385k points for 11k dollars, think I would rather take a few international flights in Y with system wide upgrades and wait for a good points purchasing promo, but then again, I am not the handbag type.

Probably intended to re-sell the bags which reduces the point cost significantly.

And I thought a Birkin was a sports car - but I guess a crocodile finish would be different!
