How long to receive Qantas points?

Hello new to this will I get points plus status credits
I booked a flight QF8659 ( TL183) operated by Airnorth and if I do how long should it take to receive the points and status credits

Any points and status credits will come after the flight. Can be pretty quick, but almost always within 24 hours.

Your frequent flyer number should be in the booking to make this happen automatically.

It depends who operated the flight the points/credits were earnt from and how often/when they send that data to Qantas.
Qantas operated flights will tend to post very quickly, sometimes while the flight is in the air.
Some partner airlines will batch everything up to send once a week, so could take anywhere from an hour to a week to post, depending on when the flight departed compared to when they send the data.

Took 5 days for my last JAL flight to post, whereas QF flights post whilst in the air.

Good knowledge here. I just completed codeshare QF on EK PER-DXB-LHR, and will return late June 2025.
Useful to know EK might take a few days. I chased SC to get QF Gold from July1st so I’m hoping updates happen before then.
