How long for points to be re-credited back?

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if I book a Qatar or Singapore Airlines award ticket and cancel it for a refund - how long do the points usually take to get credited back to the account?

I cancelled a QR award last week. Points back immediately. Refund of taxes to credit card in 48h

Instantly. The $ component of the reward seat can take, however long it takes .. but points, instantly!

Cancelled a reward seat over the weekend and the points landed as I was talking on the phone to CC
