I hit SG in the first week of December 2012 - does anyone know how long it takes to post out the SG pack? I would imagine (hope!) it would be automatic enough of a process that there would be no delay due to the end of year festivities... it'd be nice to use the new tags and card when I fly this evening.

I also hit PS only a few months ago (August 2012). Will that mean I won't get swankier bag tags?

It normally takes three weeks, which would have put it in the midst of the Christmas parcel rush, probably see it this week although there will be a backlog with the holidays including Monday which was a special post one.

You will get new gold Q tags.

My gold pack took about a week - I was surprised it arrived so early. Though I didn't have to worry about Christmas rush with the Australia Post as I made gold quite some time back.

I did receive two parcels today (not from QF, just some online sales from Boxing Day) they were both sent on the 27/12 and they took six days to get to me. So count on the post being a little slow as after the run of public holidays there will be a backlog.

Hope you get your gold pack soon.

Flights from last year just posted last night, bumping me up to SG. Lets see how long my tags take to get to me.

I hit PS at the start of December, and haven't been home yet to see if I've got the pack, but I'll be clocking over to SG tomorrow so i won't even get a chance to use the silver card. Very handy DSC at this time of the year! Will post how long it takes to arrive for the gold pack.

Yeah, hit PS mid November and headed out to the US before I could get my card, had very fun times explaining to AA that I'm OWR and trying to use my benefits as their system didn't update with my new FF status. It was fun carrying around my QF boarding pass and using that as my "card" and then having management spend 30mins to override the checked baggage payments...

Well, still nothing. I'll give it another week and then I'll call up to see what's happened to the pack.

(I'm also a bit confused as to how to tell if I correctly registered for the DSC offer I got in early December - no extra SCs have posted, and there's no flag in my account?)

From my experience, the DSC should come in 2-4 days after the flight is registered and posted. As for whether you've registered properly, I guess ring up and check. I rang up on a different matter that somehow got to DSC and they checked and confirmed that I was registered.

I'm hitting SG tomorrow and then WP on the 27th. I wonder if I will get both packs? I also leave Aus again on Feb 14 so am hoping the WP card is out by then!

Bumped up to SG on 02/01 and the postie just came around just now delivering my Gold pack. So 12 days all up including 4 days of the weekend.

Also the kangaroo where the postage is meant to go is a nice little touch. Silver for the PS pack and Gold for the SG pack.

The pack arrived mid-last week. Slow, but it turned up.

DSC were posted 8 days and then 4 days after the flights. Not too bad, definitely not six weeks.

Wonder if the Platinum packs are the same or are they a bit more flashy?

Reading the wording in my Silver pack Vs Gold pack they're pretty much the same, not much difference.

Mrs Ansett Qualiffied for Silver on the 2nd January and received the shiney new bag tags and card yesterday. I thought that this was rather quick and she is pleased too.

Now with this weekends flights she will rise to Gold so will be interesting to see how long it tales to get them.

She has the bug and wants to get to Platinum in her next year which commences 1 February :D

What Have I created lol :D

I went from NB to SG on the 8th of Jannuary and QF assures me I'll get both PS and SG card and bag tags (as opposed to only SG, as the flights taking me from sub PS SC count to past SG SC count posted in one hit).

Going by your timeline, I should have my card(s) sometime next week. Remains to be seen if both arrive the same day or in what order :D

SG Pack arrived this morning. Might have to chase QF up for the PS pack :D #firstworldproblems

Hit SG on the 4th of Jan and received the pack this morning. In ABX, so a day longer than someone who clocked over on the second. 13 days all up. Silver pack and gold pack very similar.

Now I just need to wait until T-24 to get my first gold iPhone passbook boarding pass. :)

Someone else posted here a while back about QF skipping the PS pack if you weren't a PS for long enough.
