How do you redeem VFF for SQ First (and how do find availability) Europe/Syd ow?

Now that the dust has settled from the VFF/EY redemption 'enhancements' and we booked 2x J through to Europe as far out as was available on the last day...

The homeward leg now needs some work.

After a pretty fruitless couple of hours effort (just cannot track down a guide for 1st VFF/SQ redemptions) and the call to VFF CC was not promising at best - HELP!

I can thoroughly recommend the pointhacks guide for EY business and first - How to redeem your Velocity Points for Etihad flights & more

as well as several threads within this strand to iron out all issues.

So wanting to redeem VFF points in the best way for 2x First leaving ideally on a SQ A380 (so I think that means CDG or FRA) but if needs be prepared to slum it on a B777 (from MUC etc).

How many VFF points do you have ??

Get a Kris flyer account, transfer 304088 VFF points to SQ which will give you 225250 KF points and redeem 2 x one way first saver tickets FRA - SYD on something like SQ 25 / SQ 211

Thank you CJEMNMAC - instructions followed and successful booked & now squirreled away for next June.

Amazed at the availability for CDG/SYD First suites (A380s only considered..) for next June. May as well squeeze every extra possible minute out of the suite' experience.

Some days had 3 different options for getting seat pairs.

One minor disappointment after I thought we'd hit the jackpot though.

One of the options back from FRA was via DUS. The service from DUS is an A350 so was eagerly contemplating that combination but a strange message came up which dashed all hopes.

The A350 on that route does not have First on it!

First world problems... (pun definitely intended)
