I am posting this review as part of my trip report that is here http://www.australianfrequentflyer....otos/bavaria-lake-como-madrid-nthn-69138.html

About a minute walk back from the bus stop. This was a very cheap hotel room booked for 3 nights. Staff had limited English (1 person who speaks good English was available when things got too hard!) but it was a great stay. Nothing fancy but a functional, comfortable room. There were virtually no other guests, the hotel was spotless, very comfortable twin beds, spacious bathroom, plenty of storage. There were great blockout curtains & the main night noise is cow bells. The wifi was eventually ok (3 different networks in use) and we were right in town close to the various cafes, restaurants & bars. The staff always went out of their way to assist. We enjoy Melodia FM-a great radio music station that rivals Swiss Pop.
